Scheduling & Service Coordinator (Home Care – Experience Required)
This is not an entry-level position. Applicants must have 2+ years of experience in scheduling, care coordination, or staffing in healthcare, home care, or senior services.

Are you ready for a role that combines fast-paced coordination with meaningful impact? At Home Instead, we’re seeking an experienced Scheduling & Service Coordinator to lead care logistics and support the people behind every shift—our amazing caregivers and clients.

This is a leadership-level position where strong communication, critical thinking, and service-driven operations make all the difference.

What You’ll Do

• Coordinating daily schedules, shift coverage, and open shifts

• Matching caregivers with clients based on skill, personality, and logistics

• Communicating schedule changes and updates professionally

• Supporting client retention and service satisfaction

• Documenting all activity and client/caregiver communications in our software (WellSky)

• Working with the recruitment and retention team to support hiring and onboarding

• Managing service recovery and escalation needs calmly and effectively

? You’re a Great Fit If You:

• Have 2+ years of experience in scheduling, staffing, care coordination, or operations in home care, healthcare, or senior services

• Thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple moving parts

• Can multitask under pressure—handling caregiver call-offs, client needs, and shift changes with grace

• Are a clear, confident communicator with caregivers, clients, and families

• Can solve problems on the fly and don’t let tasks fall through the cracks

• Are detail-oriented and proactive, with strong follow-through

• Know or can quickly learn systems like WellSky, Outlook, Salesforce, or Microsoft Office
