Each holiday season, Home Instead hosts the Be a Santa to a Senior program to brighten the holidays for older adults by collecting and delivering gifts to those in need. Community members donate items, which our team wraps and distributes to bring joy and connection to seniors who might otherwise feel isolated during the holidays.
This year, the Home Instead of San Francisco team spent some time at AlmaVia of San Francisco to connect with the residents. We wrap over 250 gifts for Curry Senior Center while sharing stories and listening to Christmas music. Thanks to the generosity of our community, we are expecting a record-breaking year of donations.
