Gabriela Corazon Santiago, Owner

Nora Jencks, Registered Nurse
I am most passionate about high quality geriatrics care; always aiming to improve health, independence, and quality of life to the seniors in our community. I started in the medical field as a Nurse’s Aide at the age of 16 and graduated from nursing school in 1983! For the first 20 years of my career, I focused on the high-tech world of ICU and dialysis. I then specialized in Home Health and Hospice Support for the past 20 years both in management and direct patient care roles. I train and support our team of professional CAREGivers to provide excellent care, make sure they have the resources they need to be successful and ensure that our clients are safe at home with all their needs met so they can age in place.

Sharon Lee, Human Resources Manager
In August 2015, Sharon started working as a Companion with Home Instead and then was promoted to a Certified Home Health Aide in October 2015. During that time, she was awarded CAREGiver of the Month multiple times for her outstanding performance in home care. In July 2017, Sharon was promoted to Human Resources Coordinator. Her CAREGiver experience combined with her 33-year military career helps her enjoy a position managing the complete CAREGiver Experience from recruiting to retention. Her primary responsibility is to hire compassionate and caring CAREGivers that serve our seniors with integrity. She performs in-depth screening and ensures a robust training program that results in care team members with the perfect heart to work with seniors. Sharon also manages the Home Instead on-going training programs, both in-house and on-line.

Amie Carlisle, Home Care Consultant
Amie Carlisle is originally from Vermont where the Maple syrup is debatably sweeter than the Florida Oranges. She moved to FL from VT already having a love for seniors and joined our Home Instead family having many years of experience as a caregiver and various roles in the home health industry with a specialty in memory care. Amie has served the community’s aging adults through our agency first as a Service Coordinator and found herself quickly promoted into other roles such as Quality Improvement Coordinator, Client Care Coordinator and her current position, Home Care Consultant. Amie performs a variety of duties that relate to client care and plays a crucial role in expanding our reach within the community to provide compassionate care for those in need. She makes an impact with everyone and ensures to engage and support not only the client but their family with an emphasis on quality- person centered care.

Rachel Porter, Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator
Hello, my name is Rachel, a dedicated Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator at HOME INSTEAD, where I've proudly served for over the course of a few years. I've been fortunate to receive opportunities for career advancement in an environment that values growth and support. My passion for helping the elderly has driven me for over five years, and I find immense joy in making a positive impact in their lives. Working alongside an incredible team of caregivers and colleagues, I thrive in our collaborative office, where we all aim to excel and support one another. No problem is too big for us to tackle together! HOME INSTEAD feels like a second family to me. I love witnessing the success of others and take great pride in seeing my teammates strive and grow. My commitment to this organization is unwavering, and I look forward to continuing to dedicate my time and efforts to enhance the lives of those we serve.

Hello, I'm Colleen and my family moved from Rockland New York to Port St Lucie in 2007. I have been a professional CareGiver with Home Instead since 2020 and have been awarded numerous awards including CareGiver of the Year! I love sharing my light and delivering compassionate and empathetic care to our elderly clients.
My passion is to show and treat each one of my clients with the love and support as I would want a family member of my own to be treated, and that’s how I treat them, like family. Working for Home Instead has been a blessing, the beautiful people I have come in contact with on this life’s journey have made me a better person. Not only am I caring for them, but they are unknowingly making a loving impact on me and I’m truly grateful. My goal as a lead caregiver is to leave clients with a happy positive feeling of love that every one of them deserves.
