Do you have a caring heart and a passion for helping seniors live safely and comfortably at home? Home Instead of Vero Beach is looking for dependable, compassionate Care Professionals available immediately for daytime shifts across Indian River County — including Vero Beach and Sebastian, FL.

Please note: Applicants must currently reside in Indian River County.

Will You Qualify?

You might be the perfect fit if you can:

• Stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull for up to 8 hours

• Lift up to 25 lbs (assistance varies by client mobility)

• Drive 20–30 miles for client shifts in Vero Beach or Sebastian

• Have a valid Florida Driver’s License and a reliable personal vehicle with working A/C

• Carry auto insurance with your name on the card

Available Schedules:

• Day Shifts (4 hours): between ~8:00 AM – 10:00 PM

• Weekend Shifts (4 hours): between ~8:00 AM – 10:00 PM

• Overnight Shifts (12 hours): 10:00 PM – 10:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Support with personal hygiene (bathing, grooming, dressing) – male and female clients

• Offer stand-by assistance, safety supervision, and redirection

• Provide companionship, conversation, and engaging activities

• Help with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders

• Provide transportation for errands or appointments (using caregiver’s car)
