Kelly Hutchison, Owner
Kelly experienced the caregiving journey firsthand when his father, a WWII decorated Army veteran, passed away in the family farmhouse in 1999. The decade-long experience opened his eyes and heart to the challenges families face when caring for their senior loved one.
Prior to Home Instead, Kelly worked in the consulting industry for twenty years. He helped large consumer goods and health care service provider design and implement business strategies and improve operations. This business experience helps him assess problems and implement solutions. He is very proud of his trusted relationships with Home Instead's Care Professionals and is inspired by their compassion.
One of Kelly’s quotes: “Each day I come to work happy and I go home happy.”

Sarah Wolf, General Manager
Sarah has always loved working with seniors, hearing their stories, and providing valuable comfort and support. Sarah joined the Home Instead team in 2023 after working for years in the senior care industry at a senior living community, first as a caregiver and then as a CNA. Her hands-on experience makes her uniquely qualified to find and develop our Care Professionals, because she knows just what is needed to provide the high-level of care and support our clients need.
When not working, Sarah spends time with friends and family including her three dogs and two cats.

Adam Westell, Sales Manager
Adam joined Home Instead in June of 2013. With a degree in Psychology and a passion for seniors, Adam started in the Client Liaison role and learned all the inner-workings of Home Instead. He has been involved in staffing, recruiting, client care, General Managing, and the inquiry and consultation process of prospective clients.
In his free time, Adam enjoys singing at his church, sports, and most importantly, spending time with his wife, son, and soon a second baby boy.

John R. Hoss, Field Service Manager
John R. Hoss has been a Field Service Manager for Home Instead since 2015. In this role, John manages care givers and assesses senior clients. He is uplifted and fulfilled when connecting with clients and caregivers. John believes the best way to manage home care is to be in the home.
Prior to Home Instead, John worked in the medical field. For thirty-five years, John worked as a Medical Lab technologist, which exposed him to many symptoms and ailments faced by seniors. These experiences help John relate to his clients.
In his free, time John enjoys being with family and friends. His main interests are traveling, cooking, and either going to sporting events or watching them. John spends every moment he can by the water, enjoying nature, and relaxing.

Kristen Jahn, Client Care Manager
Kristen followed her heart to Home Instead in 2023. Although she is new to the senior and home care industries, she is an expert in housing and has personal experience caring for her own parents.
As a Client Care Manager at Home Instead, Kristen is the first advisor that a prospective family will speak to. She listens to a family’s story and assesses the needs of their senior loved one. She also educates on Home Instead services and programs.
Before joining Home Instead, Kristen worked in Retail Management for over twenty years and obtained her Illinois Real Estate License in 2018. After caring for her mother-in-law, she saw the need for keeping loved ones in their homes. Kristen’s search for a meaningful career ended with Home Instead.
In Kristen’s spare time, she enjoys working in Real Estate. Kristen also just became an empty nester and enjoys spending time with her husband and two dogs (and her two daughters when they come home!).

Dale Kellison, Business Manager

In his spare time, Dale takes care of his blue-and-yellow macaw named Jack. He is also an avid storm chaser with a passion for meteorology. Dale is always striving to learn more about severe storms in order to help people impacted during these extreme and dangerous events.

Her background is working in the hospitality industry and has gained a strong experience in customer service and management. She went back to Australia for nearly a year to help her ailing father. That is when she felt that the senior population were in need of help, and that is where she needed to be. (Thank you Dad.)

Katie Hansen, Social Media Manager
Katie joined the Home Instead family in May 2025 as the Social Media Manager for the St. Charles, Naperville, and Itasca offices, often bouncing between locations each week. After graduating college in 2022 with a degree in graphic design, photography, and marketing, she built a career as a multimedia contractor and is grateful for the flexibility to continue working with a variety of clients, as well as capturing our wonderful Home Instead family.
Though she never imagined working in senior care, capturing seniors’ stories has quickly become one of the most fulfilling parts of her week. Outside of work, she can be found on a pickleball or volleyball court, spending time with loved ones, or — of course — out with her camera.
