Meet Our Team
aaron ada

Ada and Aaron Christopher, Owners

Dr. Aaron and Ada Christopher are multi-unit owners of Home Instead franchises in Illinois and Iowa. They have two children and live in Port Byron, IL. They both have a passion for working with seniors and making a positive impact in their community.

 

Ada has a Bachelor’s in Business and two Master’s Degrees; an MBA and a Masters of Accounting and Financial Management. Throughout her professional career, she has worked in a variety of leadership roles in the healthcare field and service organizations. This includes non-profits serving under-served populations and economically challenged families, as well as Federally Qualified Health Clinics. She learned early on that her calling was serving others and is passionate about serving seniors and families.

 

Aaron is a practicing Certified Public Accountant. He earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Accounting and his PhD from Claremont Graduate University. He has worked in public accounting, as an accounting professor, and as the Chief Financial Officer for several large organizations. Aaron owns several practices in staffing, finance, accounting services and investments.

 

Their mission is to enhance the lives of seniors by providing a network of reliable, compassionate, and well-trained Care Professionals. They are on call to quickly answer your questions and accommodate your senior in-home care needs.

Eugene

Eugene O., General Manager

Eugene Olshansky is a seasoned healthcare operations professional with over 15 years of leadership experience across clinical, administrative, and regulatory settings. Known for his strategic thinking and people-first approach. 
 
Most recently, Eugene worked for Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Foundation (CDC Foundation), where he led statewide vaccine compliance audits and partnered with healthcare systems to drive public health outcomes. Prior to that,  he managed clinical operations at a busy multi-specialty facility, where he improved care coordination patient outcomes and optimized resource utilization.
 
Eugene brings deep knowledge of home care compliance, quality assurance, and client relations—skills that make him uniquely suited to lead high-performing teams in senior care environments. He is passionate about improving care delivery for vulnerable populations, supporting aging in place, and building strong caregiver-client relationships.
 
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Cum Laude) and is pursuing a Master of Science in Health Systems Management. 
Rick Nickle

Rick N., Regional Director of Sales and Marketing

Rick Nickle is an accomplished sales and marketing leader with over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry, specializing in driving growth, fostering team success, and delivering exceptional client service. Currently, he serves as the Regional Director of Sales and Marketing for Champaign, Quad Cities, Rockford and Crystal Lake with Home Instead, where he focuses on enhancing the lives of seniors and their families by promoting compassionate and personalized care solutions.
 
Rick's professional journey has been defined by his passion for building strong relationships, mentoring employees, and exceeding expectations. His extensive background in hospitality has honed his ability to create meaningful connections and implement strategies that benefit both external clients and internal teams.
 
Rick and his wife, Melissa, are proud parents of four children—Marley, Maizie, Max, and Morrison—and share their home with Roxie, their beloved dog. In his free time, Rick enjoys spending quality time with his family and friends, playing guitar, attending concerts, exploring the outdoors, and cheering on his children's sports teams. 
 
Whether leading sales efforts, supporting his team, or caring for his community, Rick brings energy, empathy, and expertise to everything he does.
 
Rick is extremely proud to be a part of Home Instead.

Robin M., Business Manager

Robin is our Business Manager for Home Instead Senior Care’s Bettendorf, Moline, Crystal Lake and Rockford locations. She has her Associates in Psychology/HR degree from Scott Community College. As Business Manager, Robin is responsible for the financial side of Home Instead Senior Care including billing, payroll, and bookkeeping. Robin enjoys being part of the Home Instead team and offering support to a company whose focus is on caring for Seniors.

Amy Scotty

Amy Scotty is the Client Care Coordinator for Home Instead, Oak Park.  Amy’s relationship with the company began several years ago as she oversaw care for her mother who was receiving help from Home Instead. After her mother’s passing, Amy joined the company as a caregiver helping seniors with their activities of daily living and later came on board as our Client Care Coordinator. 

Amy is known for taking time to listen carefully to each client’s concerns and works closely with them to develop personalized care plans that meet their specific needs. 

With a deep understanding of the challenges facing seniors and their families, she is committed to providing compassionate and empathetic support to all of her clients and dedicated to helping seniors maintain their independence and live their best lives.

Renita Ward

With over a decade spent as Recruitment and Retention Coordinator for Home Instead, Oak Park, Renita Ward is passionate about ensuring seniors receive the highest quality care possible. She is responsible for overseeing the recruitment, hiring and training of Care Professionals who provide in-home care services to mostly seniors in need. Renita understands the importance of matching the right caregiver with each client and is committed to finding compassionate, skilled caregivers who share her dedication to providing exceptional care

Morgan W., Intake Coordinator

Morgan is the Intake Coordinator for Home Instead.  She has a bachelor's degree in Business from the University of Phoenix.  As the Intake Coordinator, Morgan is the initial point of contact for the client, or their loved ones.  Her compassion, empathy and understanding nature is what motivates her to help to the best of her abilities.  

In her free time, Morgan enjoys spending time with her son and her 5 animals.
