Caring for someone with Alzheimer’s is a meaningful but challenging journey. It's important to have a place to connect with others who understand what you're going through. That’s why the Home Instead team is proud to spotlight the Alzheimer’s Caregiver Support Group, hosted by the Alzheimer’s Association of Greater Indiana.
The third Tuesday of every month from 1 - 2pm, a group gathers at Inventrek Technology Park - Room 2D (700 E Firmin St, Kokomo, IN) with a trained facilitator to talk about their experiences with Alzheimer's Care. It's a welcoming, understanding environment for caregivers and care partners of those living with dementia.
In these sessions, you will:
- Develop a support system
- Exchange practical information on challenges and possible solutions
- Talk through issues and ways of coping
- Share feelings, needs, and concerns
- Learn about community resources
