Home Instead was proud to provide brunch for Brunch & Learn at Boone County Senior Services. Local historian and past president of the Indianapolis Postcard Club, Harley Sheets, brought his postcard collection to share with the group. While he has over 50,000 cards in his collection, he mostly talked about unique pieces tied to Boone County’s history, including a postcard featuring the original Boone County Hospital and even a rare pumpkin-themed card valued at more than $100!
After the presentation, Harley shared his expertise, appraising guests' postcard collections and surprising some with a special photo card featuring their family members. What a powerful way to bridge the past and present!
