Every 67 seconds, someone in the United States develops Alzheimer’s disease. As the most common form of dementia, Alzheimer’s deeply touches the lives of loved ones, caregivers, and entire communities. That’s why Home Instead is always on the lookout for ways to support organizations and events that work to bring hope to those with Alzheimer’s and dementia.
Our Community Relations Liaison, Christina, just had the opportunity to attend the Music for Alzheimer’s fundraiser at Mount Pleasant Gardens Memory Care Community. It was an afternoon filled with live performances by Cecilia Moore, Chuck Davis, Lisa Smith, and Claudio Carrara. Guests enjoyed music, appetizers, and the company of others in the community who are passionate about supporting those with Alzheimer's. Every donation helped contribute to Alzheimer’s research and support services.
At Home Instead, we’re honored to be part of a community dedicated to making a difference. As we strive to provide the best home care in Mount Pleasant, SC, we will continue to offer support for families facing the challenges of Alzheimer’s.
