CAREGIVER
El Paso, TX
$11-13/ hour dependent on client type for in-home elderly care. We ask that you fully complete our application on our website at HomeInstead.com and complete the availability and background portion for full consideration.
We offer shadowing shifts for advanced clients and introductions to each home you work. Our shifts range from 4 to 10 hours with a minimum requirement of 12 hours per week and we work to match you closely with your skill sets, hours desired, availability and location.
Our current homes that we serve include needs such as (examples only):
- Daytime shifts: 4 to 8 hour shifts such as 10 AM-2 PM and 7 AM-3 PM
- Evenings: 2:45 PM-9:45 PM (Great shift for college students who have classes during the day and are looking for part-time work)
- Overnights: 9:30 PM to 7 AM
- Weekend availability for above shifts- We request one shift of each of our caregivers on weekends to balance for all team members.
Being a caregiver to our El Paso elderly is truly meant for those that are looking to use their compassionate and home organizing skills to uphold our dignity and life needs. It is not for everyone, but for those who feel called to work in this ministry, we truly hope you apply.
Our goal is to offer you a safe work environment that allows you to work one-on-one with someone who cannot do some of life's needs on their own such as meal management, medication reminders, showering/personal care, light housekeeping and transportation to doctor appointments and errands.
We provide non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home so that they can live a full life without the worry of falls and being alone. Advanced care includes hoyer lifts or heavy mobility or full incontinence and we do aim for most caregivers to feel comfortable in assisting elderly in each of their decline stages. Dual client care includes partner care (2 persons).

- 21 years or older
- Availability to work 12 hours each week
- Complete a criminal background check, DMV check, and drug screen. We ask that if you have police records or consider yourself to not be drug-free to not apply due to our state and office high standards for best care for elderly in their home.
- Possess a valid driver's license and valid auto insurance with your name listed on policy as we do drive our clients as needed
